Hannah Gooch-Peters, Investment Operations Analyst at Sanlam UK, has been named Young Investment Woman of the Year at the Investment Week Women in Investment Awards.
Investment Week’s Women in Investment Awards not only honour the inspiring achievements of women across all parts of the investment industry, they also help shape the discussion around how diversity can be improved within the sector and highlight some of the most forward-thinking initiatives in this area.
Hannah is a key player in Sanlam’s Global High Quality Fund, a focused portfolio led by Pieter Fourie which focuses on capital growth and aims to deliver excess returns over the MSCI World Index over the long term.
Jonathan Polin, CEO of Sanlam UK Group: “We are immensely proud to see Hannah receive this award. This accolade highlights Hannah’s expertise and outstanding investment approach, as well as Sanlam’s strong investment credentials and commitment to high quality client service.
“The Global High-Quality Fund has had a very positive year and it is hugely rewarding to see this strategy, now in its tenth year, being recognised by industry peers.”
Hannah Peters, Investment Operations Analyst at Sanlam UK: “It’s really important to celebrate the women working throughout this industry, and to have come away from the awards as one of the winners is wonderful and so unexpected. This award is testament to the team’s hard work and conviction to deliver portfolio growth for our clients.”
