Josef is an investment manager within the Sanlam Investments UK Fixed Income team. He manages a short-duration USD credit fund, short duration GBP bond fund and an asset-liability matching solution for an insurance client. He joined the investment management industry in 2015, having started his career at Cameron Hume. His expertise is systematic fixed income portfolio construction and management with focus on quant investment process.
He has a degree in mathematics and economics from the University of Edinburgh, a graduate diploma in mathematics from LSE and a master’s degree in financial engineering. Josef has a Certificate in corporate credit analysis issued by Fitch and has been a CFA Charterholder since 2020.
